Find a licensed demolition subcontractor in California.
Tell us about the job. We introduce demolition subs whose CSLB license (C-21) and insurance have been checked, after they agree to the intro.
What to check before a demolition sub starts
- CSLB license: C-21Status "Active", and the classification matches your scope. How to check.
- Workers' compA demolition sub may show a no-employee exemption on CSLB. If they bring a crew, they need a policy. From January 1, 2028, workers' comp applies to all California licensees (SB 1455). Workers' comp guide.
- General liabilityNot on CSLB records. Get a certificate and the endorsements your contract requires. COI checklist.
- Bond and expirationA contractor's bond on the CSLB record, and a license that doesn't expire mid-job.
What HatBench sends you
